The preview is intended to be used in the acceptance phase, in order to give a preview of the website to a client before the website goes live.

Therefore, in order for the preview to be updated, you must first publish the website.

Publishing

If a domain is coupled, then the website will be published and the changes should be visible as soon as publishing completes. Otherwise, the published changes are visible in the Preview link.
