Creating your website

To create an empty website, go to the Console and click Create, located at the top right of the console overview.

To create a website from a Recipe, select one of your available recipes at the bottom of the creation screen.

Domain

Enter a valid domain name in the Domain Name field. You can give the website a description.

Subdomains are allowed.

Though you must enter a valid domain, a domain does not have to be coupled at this stage.

warning

Don't include www, http:// or https:// in the Domain name.

Please select the default language for your website.

If you add more languages to your website, pages in those languages will automatically be alternates of your website's default language.

You can also change your website's default language later.

Give your website a thumbnail so you can instantly recognize it in the Console.

The website thumbnail isn't used for SEO purposes and isn't visible anywhere outside of the Console.

When you've finished creating your website, you can learn about managing your website from within the Website Dashboard.
